Amlou is a family owned-design company - founded/established in 2014 in KBH/DK and consists of 8 people, divided into 6 women out of 8 in management and +80 women in the cooperative in Morocco.Our name, Amlou, derives from a Moroccan delicacy, originally given as an aphrodisiac for newlyweds, to stimulate the senses. It is an exclusive product which is associated with exquisite enjoyment and luxury, high quality and authenticity.With the name Amlou we want to symbolize that our products are of Moroccan descent, where the emphasis is on the authentic good craftsmanship and the natural materials, and they are created to evoke a sensual wow experience. Our vision is to empower women and improve working and living conditions in a way that they gain independence to create the future they want for themselves and their children. We advocate for natural materials that provide a healthier indoor climate and where the execution is based on longevity and not with an expiry date. Our concept is based on making changes on several levels that benefit the individual, the community and the nature. We hope to create a snowball effect and make an impact in more villages.
