Ammitips is an award-winning startup, providing prenatal and neonatal care, aiming to limit preventable cases of child mortality by addressing information asymmetry problems that exist within the developing world.Women on our service receive weekly phone calls and messages providing them with nutritional, hygienic, and medical information in local languages and customized according to regional health needs to guide them throughout there pregnancy while aiming to stop dangerous practices and health myths. Ammitips lends it's services to local stakeholders, governments and NGOs building on there networks and reach to gain access to as many women as possible. This model has allowed Ammitips to operate behind the scenes and allow it's co-founders to focus on the product. Ammitips is a founding member of the Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action- MAMA Global, partnered with the WHO, Dado Banatao Foundation, Gates Foundation, Clinton Initiative, Johnson & Johnson and Microsoft CSR programs to support and subsidize our services. Ammitips was co-founded at Stanford University by five individuals seeking to utilize technology and make an impact in the world. The co-founders come from diverse backgrounds and bring a variety of skill sets and expertise allowing Ammitips to dynamically evolve and make a large impact.The team and co-founders include a Software Developer @ Google, a Software Engineer @ Cisco, the CEO of a garments & textile conglomerate-known for producing the world's most denim, a Public Health Expert and Data Scientist @ Amazon and lastly a Finance Enthusiast working in the finance sector in Toronto.
