The history of AMPHENOL BROADBAND SOLUTIONS began with Monte D'Este Indústria e Comércio de Materiais Elétricos, a company founded in 1972, born of a partnership between the Iwasaki Family, which has owned Monte D'Este Farm since 1927 and the NEC of Japan, for nationalization of products of the telephone switching industry.Since 1979, Monte D'Este has established a technology partnership with Mitsubishi Cable, at the time, one of the five largest wire and cable manufacturers in Japan. Consolidating its position in the telecommunications market, Monte D'Este grew and became is the holder of a large part of the market for special cables, standing out for the quality of its products and customized service of the needs of its customers, differentials that have kept it in this competitive market in the last 40 years and attracted international investors. In 2002 with the acquisition of Monte D'Este, AMPHENOL BROADBAND SOLUTIONS began its activities in the national territory.TFC is located in Connecticut, USA, with factories in the United States, Canada, Korea, China, Mexico and Brazil. TFC exports reach more than 50 countries in CATV cables and connectors, cords, connectors and optical cabinets for broadband applications and special telecommunication cables. AMPHENOL BROADBAND SOLUTIONS DO BRASIL is the only TFC unit in Latin America, with a factory in Campinas and a sales office in Argentina.
