AMS PharmaServices, Inc. was established in 2009 to serve the needs of Atlanta's high-risk and underserved medication-dependent populations. We created a niche business by offering secure and private home medication delivery services via our Pills-On-Wheels (POW) program.In cooperation with PharmaLife (an 18-year Pharmacy Services consortium), we are rolling out a new program to assist physicians in establishing and running point-of-care dispensaries at their existing locations. We are continually adding relevant programs to support our current client base and that of other neglected populations. Our latest service focuses on monitoring medication regimen compliance.We have created a new program and service that caters to Coordinators of Transitional and Community Care for the HIV-positive population. It is specifically aimed at bridging the medication service during transition between facilities or homes and the community facilities with the goal of creating permanent medication regimen adherence by providing specialized medication packaging, monitoring of patients' compliance, and reporting the findings to the proper community professionals, (physicians, case workers, etc.).
