AMSA operates in the Informal/ Traditional Trade environment across South Africa.We connect independent Cash and Carry and Midi-Wholesale businesses directly with multinational brand houses, allowing them to buy directly.This in turn, allows them to pass on cost savings to consumers in the lower income segments via the Spaza / Informal channels.At launch, we have secured a position as a National Key Distributor of Unilever products, across all three of their main categories, namely Home Care, Personal Care and Grocery.In the immediate future we are seeking to drive volume sales via our customer network, establishing ourselves as a valuable channel for Unilever before looking to widen our offering to other international brand custodians.
