AMSIH stands for "Asosiasi Manajemen Sumberdaya Insani Hotel" while HHRMA is the acronym of "Hotel Human Resource Management Association". The two names are identical, one in Indonesian and one in English. AMSIH is the translation of the acronym the association has been known for. The name in Indonesian is required by the Indonesian legislation on names of associations established by Indonesian citizens.HHRMA was established on 14 April 1994 to stand for "Hotel Human Resource Managers' Association". In the National Conference held on 8 and 9 April 2021, a transformation was initiated: the word "Management" replaced "Managers', signifying a more inclusive nature of its membership. The association welcomes HR practitioners in the hotel business, regardless of their positions in the HR Division, who commit to the big picture concept of "Indonesian hospitality".We now exist in these provinces of the Republic of Indonesia with provincial level leadership boards: 1) Sumatera Utara2) Riau3) Kepulauan Riau4) Jawa Tengah5) DIY Yogyakarta6) Jawa Barat7) Banten8) Nusa Tenggara Barat9) Sumatera BaratIn addition, we serve members with municipal level leadership boards in:1) Bogor2) SoloAfter serving for 27 years, HHRMA has impacted its stakeholders in different ways. To leverage on the significance of the name, as from 8 April 2021, the acronym also stands for the core values of the association: Humanistic, Harmonious, Relevant, Masterful, Appreciative.
