AMSSA was created in 1977 and incorporated in 1980.AMSSA is a British Columbia-wide association that strengthens its member agencies and stakeholders, who serve immigrants and build culturally inclusive communities, with the knowledge, resources and support they need to fulfill their mandates.AMSSA's purpose is to co-create the conditions of success for our members to build better lives for immigrants and newcomers to BC.Our Vision: A just and equitable society in which everyone benefits from social and economic inclusionOur Mission: AMSSA facilitates collaborative leadership, knowledge exchange and stakeholder engagement to support member agencies that serve immigrants and build culturally inclusive communitiesAMSSA's program areas are: Settlement & Integration Language, Migrant Worker support and diversity and inclusion.
