Arts & Crafts - Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
Amsterdam Artspace and The Free Walls Project is an initiative by Daniella Groenberg and Elish van Eijk, owners of Greenberg+Oaktree interior design and styling. In our studio, our love for interior design and the arts comes together. Here, we welcome artists to make use of our beautiful wall space, to show those approachable, affordable works of art that we would lovingly feature in our projects. The Free Walls Project is Greenberg+Oaktree's most recent initiative. Early 2017 we moved into our new studio in the Blankenstraat, in an 'upcoming' neighbourhood in Amsterdam. The surprisingly high ceilings and ditto walls are like an empty canvas. Anything is possible…Monthly exhibitionsIt is this feeling of freedom we want to cherish and share. That's why we started The Free Walls Project, giving us one extra reason to keep an eye out for great art. We give both local and international artists the opportunity to show their work, for four weeks, free of charge. During an exhibition, we rename our studio to Amsterdam Artspace. Neighbours, clients and art lovers can look forward to new art works every month. And our studio will radiate exactly what Greenberg+Oaktree is: dynamic, approachable and full of surprises. Art to fall in love withWhat can you expect of the Free Walls Project? Affordable works of art you haven't seen in every other gallery across town. And if you do, you can take it home in a heartbeat.
