Amsterdam Scrap Terminal (AST) is a leading recycling company with a focus on exporting various types of Ferrous material. As a transhipment point in the Port of Amsterdam, the purchased iron scrap is supplied from the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany by trucks and/or inland vessels. After which it is inspected, sorted and exported by bulk deepsea vessels. Due to our unique location with an area of 3 hectares and two loading and unloading quays, we are able to load several ships per month with a loading weight of up to 50,000 Mt.
