Are you choosing JOY in your Blown Up Life?After life threw me a curveball and I went through a divorce I chose to pursue something I'd thought about for a long time but hadn't taken the leap. I got my real estate license. I LOVED it. Over time I started training and coaching real estate agents.After losing a coaching position due to my position being eliminated I went back into real estate sales. It wasn't long before I realized how much I missed training and coaching. I told myself I had to find a way back into coaching because I figured out it was my passion and purpose in life. However, I had some personal setbacks in life and was dealing with a heated child custody battle. An opportunity presented itself to me to join a group of life coaches in a coaching mastermind and I initially passed it up because I couldn't see how I could make it work in my hectic and chaotic life at the time. A few months later a trusted friend and coach reached back out to me to see if things had changed. Life had not changed, if fact it had gotten worse, however, she pulled me forward and asked if I was living in "AND" or "OR. At first I wasn't sure what she meant but after our call I realized I was looking at things from the perspective of OR. I couldn't deal with the horrible, painful, sad things going on in my life AND start my own coaching business. At least I didn't think I could. Soon after that conversation I realized that happiness was a CHOICE. I could CHOOSE to still find JOY in my life despite what was going on around me or I could CHOOSE to continue to be unhappy and focus on the bad and continue going through the motions of life day to day. I realized I didn't have to accept the way I was living life, which was painful, and lacking peace and joy. I could CHOOSE more. I am so grateful I chose JOY and to live in AND that day!!!!!!!!
