Anabel Veloso Flamenco Dance Company was set up in 2009, backed by the Residence Agreement with the Auditorium Theatre in Roquetas de Mar and the compelling ambition of a talented director who had been touring internationally and awarded twice for her premiere coreography. Anabel stands at the head of the Company with Alberto Ruiz, both previous dancers at Cristina Hoyos orders for the Andalusian Dance Company, 2012 is the year of the national recognition of the Company with the award "Almeria Joven" in the category on best international promotion by the Andalusian Youth Institute, obtained for their many international performances, including the Bunkamura theatre in Tokyo or the Joyce Theatre in New York City. Up until today the Company has produced 6 big shows that have toured around Spain and several countries and keep performing with the latest show: The 80's generation: grandsons from the 27's generation.
