Warehousing/Logistics - Coppell, TX, US
We build self-driving technology for material transport vehicles used in warehouses and factories. We fuse AI-based recognition, localization & mapping, real-time 3D reconstruction and vehicle control. Our first product is an autonomous tug used to transport material carts in warehouses. We are in production at a large 3PL service provider and under testing at multiple locations.Deployment at a new location takes a few hours. User records a new route by driving the robot manually along the desired route. User places named location markers and temporary stops as needed. As a safety feature, user can place a yellow line marking ‘robot route' in sections with heavy foot/forklift traffic. Yellow line alerts workers that a robot travels around here. If a yellow line is present, robot will ensure that it travels close to it. Robot avoids dynamic and static objects. It waits if it cannot avoid an obstacle and continues again when its route is clear. Using its recognition capability, it stops at a greater distance for people/forklifts to allow them to operate but may get close to cartons/pallets to go around them. Posted videos provide an introduction.
