Subsidized studio to support and represent artists living with mental illnesses established in 1997. Recently undergoing a change in moniker to Artist Mentors Alliance to underscore the collaborative and empowerment philosophy of the enterprise. Facility includes 4000 square feet of studio, shop, and showroom space. The Anchor House Gallery has been noted for its very unusual art holdings which have been featured at the Outsider Artshow in NYC, The Smithsonian and the Capitol Rotunda in Washington DC as guest exhibitors of VSA, Boston, Hartford and at local venues including Hampshire College, University of Massachusetts Amherst, and other Western Massachusetts galleries.
