Every Anchorpoint family receives a team of professionals who work together and give the family the support from their respected fields. In regard to adolescent, the Treatment Team will vary but can include the following;Program Navigator Therapist Psychiatrist/Doctor School staff (Dean, Counselor, School Resource Officer) Attorney Physician MentorEach team member brings different insights and expertise but all work toward common goals along with the parent(s) to create a united front to address the problem. What makes our program unique is the role of the Program Navigator. The Program Navigator is available to the family 24/7 and will be the anchor for that family every step of the way. The Program Navigator provides not only education and training but most importantly gives constant support and comfort ensuring each family knows they are not alone. The Program Navigator is the catalyst and communication vehicle for each team ensuring that the Therapist and Psychiatrist/Physician have up to date information on family and child progress. All of our Program Navigators are experienced professionals who are not only available around the clock but trained in crisis management and evidence-based practices of community- based treatment along with the theories of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Very often a family feels alienated from the community and school due to past behavior of their child and it is up to the Navigator to bridge those relationships by creating trust and partnership and set a course of action. Should an Anchorpoint client be coming out of an inpatient facility, we work closely with the family prior to discharge to help with the client's assimilation upon their return home. We also highly recommend that our clients remain with their therapist even after discharge. We feel that with this continuum of service creates a greater opportunity for continued sobriety and progress.
