Back in 1941, Harold E. Anderson had a vision - make it easy for homebuyers to build the home of their dreams. He saw it as the Architect's job to design these homes . His vision led him to a revolutionary idea: Take each new unique design that is develop for our clients and utilize it to create a library of building plans for homebuilders and homebuyers. This became the basis for selling our plans as stock plans at a fraction of the cost of new custom home designs. Today Anderson is a leader in stock home plans, custom home designs, additions and remodeling. With over 5,000 stock plans to choose from, anyone wishing to build a new home can do so without having to spend 4% to 12% (yes, some architects assess fees as high as 12%) of their building budget on custom architectural plans. In fact, stock plans are generally less than 1% of the cost of a new home and often, at Anderson, custom designs are less than 4% of the building budget. At Anderson, our knowledge and resources ensures you that you are likely to save more than the cost of our fee with our functional and practical designs.
