Andrea Klimko Architects is an award winning multi-disciplinary architectural design practice with its headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia. Since opening in 2004, Andrea Klimko Architects has expanded its branch network with offices now open in London and Vienna. The offices has experience in a wide variety of projects architecture and design, with a strong focus on creative and innovative approaches and genius loci of the project place. Andrea has successfully worked on several design projects in many countries including USA, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, Russia, Cyprus and Turkey. Andrea Klimko Architects has been involved in multiple architecture project field areas, ranging from health care, hospitality, luxury design residential and commercial fields in both public and private sectors. Andrea Klimko is the Founder and the Director of Andrea Klimko Architects. Andrea oversees the design of all projects and sets the strategy, goals and direction of the company. Andrea is a registered member of the Architects Registration Board in the United Kingdom and also the Czech and Slovak Chamber of Architects, as well as being a Presidium Member of the Slovak Architects Society. As the founder of the non-profit organisation Women Architects, Andrea supports and promotes female architecture professionals worldwide. Her projects have been featured in many national and international publications and magazines. The philosophy of Andrea's work is to find the poetic language in architecture, through its beauties and sensualities; to find an interface connection between dream and reality, lightness and heaviness, and the feminine and masculine principles of human nature. Within Andrea‘s 17 years of experience, she has been actively involved in designing over 250 projects, from their initial concepts to final completion in the field.
