Angel Adult Day Care has 2 primary functions. 1. Enhance the lives of active adults. Participants will enjoy activities such as yoga, exercise class, gardening, painting and other arts and crafts as well as games like cards, bingo, and mahjong. It's a great place for adults to learn new skills and hobbies. We also have educational guest speakers, social outings, and in-house movie time. 2. Provide care for people with specific chronic conditions including Alzheimer's Disease and related forms of dementia. In addition, we provide care for any adult with disabilities and for the elderly. We have nurses' on site and a devoted area for participants who require that their vital signs be checked regularly or need other nursing services during their stay with us. Angel Adult Day Care also provides activities and art classes, personal care, therapeutic meals, medication regulation, transportation to the facility and back home, and more. We also provide respite care, enabling caregivers to work or have a break from their care-giving responsibilities. Caregivers can also attend free classes on how to cope with the added stress of being a caregiver as well as helpful tips to use when providing care for their loved one.
