Dr. Willibroad Dze-Ngwa founded The African Network against Illiteracy, Conflict and Human Rights Abuse (ANICHRA) on January 17, 2008. ANICHRA's mission is to enable vulnerable underprivileged children, women, and ethnic minorities to enjoy conflict reduction, realize increased access to education, healthcare, and sustainable growth by applying peace-building mechanisms, evidence-based interventions, and inviting agri-business opportunities through capacity-building and partnerships. ANICHRA's mission gave rise to its motto, 'help others: make them better.' We serve as a think tank of issues relating to conflicts not only in the Central African Sub region but in Africa as a whole. We send our group of experts to conflict prone areas where investigations are carried out and statistics and data are collected which later serve in the formulation of our proposals to the governments and International Organizations involved. We investigate into complaints of human rights abuses and formulate petitions to the right authorities for actions to be taken. We visit refugee camps and look for measures of protecting the rights of women n children. We educate them of these rights and look for means of empowering them while we create platforms which provide schooling for the children. We encourage good governance practice especially relating to activities which put at stake the basic human rights of individuals and management of refugees and internally displaced persons. Promoting social justice and the culture of peace within and among different groups and societies. Organizing capacity-building seminars, training workshops and conferences on education, peace-building mechanism and human security issues. Enhancing the teaching of peace, citizenship and human rights education in schools and colleges. Our specialty is in conflict resolution and ensuring commitment to the security and freedom of human rights for all.
