Animal Clinical Investigation was established nearly 20 years ago. In the past 3 years it has expanded its offering to connect demand with expertise in many areas of new animal drug development, including but not limited to Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC); Target Animal Safety (TAS), Target Animal Effectiveness (TAE) and Regulatory Affairs (Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM), USDA-Center for Veterinary Biologics, Health Canada's Veterinary Drugs Directorate (VDD), the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries', the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Ministério da Agricultura, Pecuária e Abastecimento (MAPA) in Brazil).Since its inception, ACI has successfully worked in partnership with pet owners and veterinarians, bridging the veterinary community with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to develop novel treatments for pets with cancer and other diseases and conditions. ACI's reputation is built on its ability to effectively collaborate with its network of veterinarians and subject matter experts, who are leaders in their respective fields. Together, ACI has helped many companies develop new products and bring to market safe and effective therapies for pets.The ACI team today has decades of experience acquired working for veterinary practices and universities, for large animal health and human health companies, as well as for CVM. We closely collaborate with Sponsors, providing timely and synchronized access to subject matter experts, building and leading talented new product development teams. ACI supports the conduct of field effectiveness and safety studies from proof-of-concept to pivotal studies, providing services from protocol writing, to biostatistical plans and analyses, to submission of the studies to regulatory agencies. ACI also has the ability to incorporate extensive Research and Development and regulatory know-how into successful product development strategy and execution.
