Ankenman Associates Architects Inc. (AAAI) was established in 1980. Since its inception the firm has practiced throughout the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, and beyond undertaking a variety of successful projects involving both the private and public sectors. Architectural commissions have included residential, education, recreation, health care, institutional, commercial, and hospitality projects.Over time, AAAI has expanded its services beyond traditional architectural commissions. The firm has become well known for it successes in maneuvering through the complexities of municipal approval processes (Rezoning, Development Permit, OCP Amendments, Variances, etc.). Also, due to the success of the Garrison Crossing Development in Chilliwack for Canada Lands Company, our involvement in large scale masterplanning and design guideline development is steadily increasing. AAAI is one of the larger and more diverse architectural practices south of the Fraser River. Our services extend from programming through all phases of design, interior design, construction, and post-occupancy analysis. We have worked comfortably with project managers in conventional construction procurement processes, as well as on fast track, design/build, and construction management projects. Our roots in our community run deep and our understanding of the local environment is extensive. AAAI has the commitment, creativity, and expertise to ensure every project is successfully completed.
