Ankhor is a free, volunteer driven, math tutoring platform that provides tutoring for K-8 learners by high school volunteer-tutors. Using a suite of web communications technology, Ankhor enables learners and tutors in school districts to connect with each other at their convenience. Using voice and video chat, whiteboard software and collaborative document viewing abilities tutors can help their learners study math, complete homework and generally have access to a support resource at absolutely no cost to any of them. We aim to cultivate a culture of accessible learning resources, peer based support and effective and comprehensive service and leadership opportunities.
