Annapara Home Stay in set upon a little scrub which opens out to a jungle. The terrain and vegetation is natural to provide the guests a "CLOSE TO NATURE" experience. Located on the top of a hillock, it enjoys scenic views all around and offers several walking / trekking trails, through plantations and rain forest, including one to a waterfall.It is a property with 5 heritage rooms and 2 family suites. The heritage rooms can accommodate up to 3 people each. Each family suit can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. Simple home cooked traditional Kerala cuisine is served in our Dining area cum Lounge. Our swimming pool is natural and is chemical-free (No Chlorine!). We have a badminton court, amphitheater, mini library, gazebo and several swings an hammocks scattered all around to just relax with a book and soak in the serenity of the environs. Since we live off grid, there is no refrigerator. Fresh local produce is procured daily, cooked and served hot. No carryovers! The condiments are manually crushed on stone because we do not have a food processor / mixie. The traditional methods followed in our cooking add their own unique flavor and have earned us lot of appreciation from our guests from all over the world.It is ideal for - a reunion with friends and family; a romantic getaway for couples; an open spa for stressed urban folk; and a retreat for the nature lover, out door adventurer and bird watcher.The tranquil and serene surroundings are ideal for yoga and meditation. We can arrange for classes on request. We offer our guests an opportunity to have a MUD BATH. Apart from it's therapeutic value, it will make you feel refreshed and rejuvenated.We do not have television and discourage personal gadgets. Our guests' kids have enjoy Nature so much that they, did not miss their iPads and TABs. Our domestic generator provides power from dusk onwards for utility and entertainment so that we do not send our guests back to the dark age!
