Anshey Ha'aron (The Closet People Group) is an Israeli production partnership founded to support various musical acts among which is a tribute to Kaveret's (Poogy) first album - "Sipurey Poogy" (1973), upon its 40th anniversary. Kaveret is one of the most critically acclaimed Israeli bands, celebrated by fans worldwide. Long gone after the band broke up (1976), their members built a musical legacy, unique to each and every one of them, still performing today in Israel and abroad.The debut musical act of Anshey Ha'aron started as a reenactment of Kaveret's first act, striving to recreate the experience of the 70's sensation with their original musical arrangements and famous humoristic sketches, as well as outfits and original stage set. Active more than 7 years, the group received a humbling coverage by the Israeli media, such as prime entertainment TV show - "Erev Tov with Guy Pines". With the continuous support from Kaveret's original members, Anshey Ha'aron's recurring concerts at Zappa's clubs featured numerous collaborations with Kaveret's members - Alon Oleartchik, Efraim Shamir, Meir Fenigstein (AKA "Poogy") and Yitzhak Klepter.The current variations of the musical act feature the greatest hits of Kaveret, as well as the festive anthems of the Israeli rock and pop from the 70's, 80's and 90's.
