Anteas- The National Association of socialy active people of all ages for solidarity. ( Associazione Nazionale Tutte le Età Attive per la Solidarietà )Emilia Romagna is the headquaters for all the voluntary Anteas associations situated in the region of Emilia Romagna in Italy. Anteas was founded in 1996, inspired by the regional experiences from voluntairy work, supported by the National federation of Pensioners (Fnp Cisl). Anteas is promoted by seniors and eager to meet with the youth and all those who share the same goals of civil and social solidarity. Anteas strives to tackle the problemsof social exclusion, to improve the quality of life, expand the culture and the practice of solidarity so that every age is valued and every person has anopportunity to develop a lifeplan that becomes a ressource for themselves as well as helps others.Today Anteas is recognized on a national, regional and local scale.The sharing of ethical and democratic values brings the indivudal organizations towards the Anteas's local network. Today, 20 differnt assosiations, over 2600 members, and almost 1000 volunteers are affiliatedwith Anteas Emilia Romagna. In turn, over 60 000 members, and other 11 000 volunteers are part of the national Anteas network and participate in various projects concerning solidarity.
