Civil Engineering - Scottsdale, Arizona, United States
Anthropocene: the term has steadily gained currency with commentators across a wide range of disciplines who observed that human infrastructure development, while creating many benefits for society, has dramatically and irrevocably transformed the natural world. These changes have been apparent in urban environments, where human infrastructure has most thoroughly displaced naturally functioning systems.Due to insufficient funding for extensive ‘grey' redevelopment, experts have proposed the implementation of green infrastructure (GI) to approximating pre-urban environments by mimicking natural conditions.Guided by a philosophy of sustainable solutions for urban environments, AnthroENG provides consulting services in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, environmental monitoring, research, and civil design. Modern approaches in modeling, data science, and IoT technology have enabled water resource engineers to solve old problems with contemporary methods. In partnership with CHI, we provide support of the PCSWMM platform to the United States to help engineers and municipalities with their pressing challenges.
