Established in August 2012, Anti-harassment movement is a grassroots advocacy movement that works to combat gender based violence and for gender equalityAnti-harassment movement is not related to or categorized based on any religious or political background..Vision:We have a dream to fulfill. Our dream is to eradicate the corrupt and inhumane culture, strongly inherited in the society, that accepts GBV . Who We Are:We are a team of volunteers from diverse age groups and backgrounds. We believe in gender equalityGoals:• The movement strive to create a law that criminalizes sexual harassment and sexual assault in Egypt. (the law was passed and signed in 2013)• We work to end the norm of social acceptability of sexual harassment/Assault in Egypt • Conducting Nationwide digital and grassroots advocacy campaigns against GBV. • Work to advocate and draft zero tolerance polices against GBV in Universities campuses.
