The Australian National University Football Club is the largest men's football club in the ACT and region with nearly 250 members participating at all levels of football in the capital region. The club was formed in 1962 as the "ANU Men's Soccer Club" and changed the name to "ANU Football Club" at the AGM in October 2002. The club's colours are royal blue and white and the Club emblem is the a crest with royal blue and white vertical stripes and the motto "vilis est sermo".
