Anue was established by pediatric nurse Jeanette Grønnslett nov. 2018. She has worked with premature and sick newborns for over ten years.Breastmilk protects and keep alive newborns, and it is specially designed for the little human body. It contains antibodies, growth hormons, human proteins and a lot of other impotant ingredients. Newborn babies do not always have access to the mother's own milk, and it is therefore important to have access to donor milk - especially for the premature babies. When premature babies receive formula, it gives, among other things, a three times higher risk of developing necrotizing enterocolitis, a condition that is associated with high mortality.Jeanette has experienced that it can be empty for donor milk, and that sometimes 20-30 % of the donor milk is wasted due to several challenges in the current process. This has created frustration, irritation and a burning commitment to create change. Every year, more than 15 million premature babies are born in the world in need of access to donor milk. As the first step, Anue will develop a special patentable container for storage of donor milk in order to simplify the process, minimize wastage and ensure quality throughout all stages, from donor to child. The container can be used by anyone in need of storing breast milk."Breast milk keeps the baby alive and protects it, it is specially designed for the baby to grow and develop with the right ingredients"- Jeanette Grønnslett, pediatric nurseDo you want to stay up to date on developments and future products or are you a future customer, an investor, a company or an organization that supports women / children's health and wants to work with us - get in touch!
