Association of Alternative Fuel and Energy Market Participants of Ukraine (APEU) was established in autumn 2009 and it is an association, whose purpose is to coordinate the economic activities of enterprises representing the renewable energy sector for the purpose of developing the industry and interacting efficiently with the government agencies. The main task of the Association is to promote production and use of renewable energy of and in Ukraine, as well as to strengthen the market position of the Ukrainian manufacturers of specialized equipment and technologies, as well as in foreign markets, representation of participants' interests before government, international organizations, and protection of the participants's rights, provision of public relations. Participation in the Association does not restrict its members in commercial, social and any other activities not prohibited by law. Members of the Association with casting vote shall have equal rights and responsibilities with the founders of the Association. The Association operates under and in full conformity with the Ukrainian Civil Code, Economic Code of Ukraine for the Association and other regulations, as well as the Charter. Basics for the work of the Association consist in implementing the basic directions of its activities, realizing the decisions of the General Assembly or the Conference of Parties, the Council's decisions APEU.
