Apex Sports Technology, LLC (doing business as Dugout) builds software to maximize coach efficiency and player development in baseball and softball. "Dugout", AST's first software product, leverages live streaming of game and practice video into the Dugout for immediate instruction. Video clips are then automatically saved and available on a player's profile. Additionally, profiles contain key player statistics, videos associated with those statistics, and all of a players highlights in one, easy-to-use interface. Dugout also leverages a private feed that allows coaches to engage, inspire, and instruct their players in an all new way. Finally, Dugout offers in-app messaging for team communication between coaches, players, and parents. While Dugout is intended to be the ultimate coaching tool, it also boasts a plethora of benefits for parents, players, recruiters, and friends and family of players.
