APG Mobile Applications is a startup founded in 2011 to create mobile applications that provide a social benefit. We are a talented group of designers, consultants, programmers and business people who are focusing our efforts on the intersection between: mobile computing, spatial / visual reasoning, and; the "sticky" problems in society The purpose? Our Mission? To make it easier for humans to understand their situation, its opportunities, options and limitations in an effort to improve the quality of decision making. Improved quality of life. Our first mobile application, iSplit Divorce, is a visual Excel for couples going through divorce: it takes the abstractions of spreadsheets and makes them come alive on the screen. Users can drag and drop icons as the App automatically recalculates "shares" of assets and debts and autosaves configurations. Our business model is to develop multiple mobile applications for underserved niche markets where the problems are complex. Some of these chosen niches are quite large: e.g. pre-diabetics are 80+ million in the U.S. alone. We intend to design, create, launch and market three fully-developed Apps per year. We will develop the infrastructure, skills and systems to fully exploit the marketing of those Apps through our unique proposition and through smart marketing.
