Apoqon was founded in order to address existing gaps within Western consultancy approaches, and infuse Indigenous knowledge, methodology, and values within spaces where such practices are absent.Indigeneity is deeply ingrained within the heart of our business. Our logo's design is based upon the fiddlehead (or "Ma'susi'l" in Mi'qmaq), a traditional food of the Maliseet, Mi'kmaq and Passamaquoddy First Nations peoples, and the name of our business, Apoqon, is derived from the Mi'gmaq word "Apoqonmuati" which means to "provide assistance." Providing assistance is what we do best, with a variety of products and services designed to genuinely serve the needs of Indigenous peoples. We provide the following practical, timely and cost-effective solutions to match any business need: Research and writing services, Communications, and Strategic planning.Ultimately, our goal is to augment, as well as highlight the advantages of a uniquelyIndigenous approach within a variety of sectors.
