We're launching a digital connectivity platform for people experiencing homelessness. On the front end, we're building an interactive app that provides centralized access to resources for the homeless, over 55% of whom now utilize smartphones, with some estimates at 80%. On the back end, Appa aims to construct an ecosystem to resolve the longitudinal data problem in homeless services, leveraging the aggregate behavior of homeless end-users to optimize the way in which city governments allocate funding and service providers spend it.
