Appalachia Development Group, LLC (ADG) is the strategic driving force of the Appalachia Storage and Trading Hub (ASTH), a regional network of transportation, storage and trading of Natural Gas Liquids and chemical intermediates. ADG's mission is to deliver a safe, environmentally sound platform for diversification of America's petrochemical manufacturing base and to serve as a catalyst for significant follow-on petrochemical investments in Appalachia. Based in Charleston, W. Va., ADG is a Delaware limited liability corporation and is a subsidiary of Mid-Atlantic Technology, Research & Innovation Corporation. A Catalyst for Industrial Development: The ASTH is considered to be a catalyst for industrial development within the Appalachian region and associated with the utilization of the prolific shale wet-gas gas deposits in the Marcellus, Utica and Rogersville Shales. The American Chemistry Council estimates $36 billion in new petrochemical investments, more than 100,000 new long-term jobs that includes more than $6 billion in annual payroll and $2.9 billion in annual tax revenue for the Appalachian region.
