When you entered Apple Restaurant you are entered a temple like space that was at once large and open but also intimate and welcoming. The restaurant consists of three rooms: the bar/lounge area – the Bom Bar, the main dining room, and a private room for karaoke parties. The décor is Asian-inspired as the restaurant serves primarily Vietnamese food, along with Japanese, Latin, Middle Eastern, and Thai-influenced fare. A quiet fountain greets visitors as they walk along the corridor that leads to the main dining area, which is filled with dark wood tables and chairs. The karaoke room, which from the outside resembles a mini recording studio—there are windows that allow diners to look inside—houses couches and a karaoke machine. In the Bom Bar, cushiony soft leather couches and low wooden tables fill half of the area. A round bar with high stools and a few tables, which sit before French doors that open onto the street, completes the space. Throughout the restaurant the lighting is soft, flattering, and easy on the eyes. My friends and I chose a table at the edge of the dining room, near the bar/lounge entryway.
