We provide products and services that bring the print and online worlds closer together. These include:Mobile App Customization - Our current mobile app ships as a beta product for Android devices. If other platforms are required, or more functions, please contact us for a quote. The current functions include:- Publication identification, by keyboard or scan- Selection of new or existing publication for scanning- Pick and confirmation of highlighted text for linking to an internet site- Toggle flashlight for local light conditions- Permission-based usage data collectionAuthor Workflow - Our current workflow is customized for writing an academic thesis proposal and the approved thesis. This includes annotating content for hyperlinks to internet sites, for both paper and online versions of the thesis. A library function is included that allows external references to be documented and maintained with notes, metadata, and the words or phrases that will form the hyperlink text for the final version.This flexible flow can be quickly adapted for other academic institutions with similar programs but differing requirements and guidance for students. It can also be used to manage similar projects, such as non-fiction book writing and publication. Backlist Revisions - If you are an author with an existing backlist, we can help you annotate those books to be published as new editions with hyperlinks accessible from the mobile app. There are two service offerings:The author workflow app, into which an online version of your backlist edition can be loaded, and text selected for hyperlinks, to material of your choosing. This can include movie clips, source data such as photos, author interviews, suggested background music while reading, or any other type of material that can enrich the reading experience.In addition to the workflow app, for books that have been made into movies, we can provide the service to cross-reference book text to movies scenes.
