Our mission is to fund scholarships for primary school students in developing countries, while raising awareness about the global challenges to universal primary education, connecting the internet community to primary-school students in worldwide, and encouraging the adoption of policies that will more effectively allow schools to empower students and communities. Apricot Project aims to help educate children worldwide by serving as a central fundraising platform for primary-school scholarships. These scholarships will help underprivileged students around the world cover tuition, supplies costs, and other fees. On our website, users can learn about students from around the world, contribute partial or full amounts to their scholarships (recurring or one-time), and interact with other users. We then aggregate these small donations into meaningful amounts and give them to the students once a year with the help of our trusted field partners. Our users will have many ways to connect and communicate with the children they sponsor, including regular updates on the progress of the children, breakdown on the usage of their donation, and ability to write to the children. Furthermore, 100% of the money that we receive for scholarships will be given directly to the field partner for the intended student.
