Aprifel, the Agency for Research and Information in Fruits and Vegetables, is a 1901 law association created in 1981. It provides an interface between scientists, civil society and fruit and vegetable professionals. Aprifel works for the popularization and transmission of scientific data relating to fruits and vegetables to health professionals, the industry, consumer associations, the press and the general public. To do this, it mobilizes the national and international scientific community, produces and disseminates publications and organizes information seminars and international conferences. To carry out its missions, Aprifel relies on a scientific council made up of external experts and a consumer council bringing together around ten national consumer associations.
