Aqleema: A Beautiful World is an initiative started by the students of Jamia Millia islamia to spread the word of Feminism and reflect the struggles of women and other non dominant genders and sexualities.We envision a world where women aren't subject to prejudices , subjugation , malice of unjust societal practices , sexism and sexist exploitation; where confirming to gender binary is thwarted and all genders receive equal respect and recognition ; where all sexualities are allowed an open expression.We aim to empower and encourage people to break the shackles of patriarchy and standards of heteronormativity and live their lives according to their will. With these aims in mind, we intend to include people and organise a collective effort to achieve our goals.
