AQUABIO is a suspension culture oyster farm located in Mesaoka-Ichkeul site, Bizerte, Tunisia.AQUABIO aim the production of Premium Oysters to offer a special product to oyster and seafood lovers all over the world; a high quality oysters with taste specific to the environment where they grow. AQUABIO cultivates its branded oysters in globally unique classified ecosystem protected by RAMSAR Convention and classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.The exceptional environment enjoys a unique balance of fresh, brackish and marine waters; creating a rich ecosystem fed by the mineral-rich waters coming from the rivers and most of all, the pureness of the Mediterranean Sea currents.Our oysters grow in optimal conditions which give them a distinct balanced taste of the open sea with a subtle sweetness. The freshness of the water, the environment and the sun lights of the Mediterranean climate give to our oysters the mantel of a shiny golden hue while the inside of the shell is a bright nacre-white color.
