Thermal management is a key obstacle to deploying the next generation of high performance CPUs and GPUs required to feed the ravenous power demand for elastic cloud computing, big data analytics, complex simulations, and artificial intelligence. AquaQuant Laboratories (AQL) is working with customers to enable higher computational density (Gflops/m3) and speed (Gflops) via enhanced heat transfer with water. AQL is leveraging support from the Innovation Crossroads program at Oak Ridge National Laboratory near Knoxville, TN to commercialize its technology and increase the capabilities of high performance computing customers.
