Aquarius-Aqua Ltd. was founded in December 199, main acivities mineral water, energy- and carbonated soft drink (CSD) production.Currently we operate 5 PET lines and 1 CAN line. Annual capacity of PET lines is 500m pieces and 200m of CAN line.3 PET lines are dedicated for mineral water production, even each line handle different pack sizes (0,5L, 1,5L and 2L).Other 2 PET lines are for CSD and flavoured water production.One line pack size capability is 1,5L and 2L, the other is 1,5L and 2,5L.Company prior year revenue was more than 15 billion HUF (43 million €).Current market shares are the followings: flavoured water 60%, energy drink 20%, CSD 16%, mineral water 12%.Market positions are: first, second, third, fourth – in the same sequence as product groups named.Company kept its dynamic growth till inspite of the economic crisis started in 2008. Owners and management realised that consumer needs turned to cheaper categories and started to extend private label production. Besides this portfolio had been widened and diversificated, also focus was increased on export markets.In this new business concept company started some aquisitions. Biggest new member was Buszesz and its brand or well known products: Queen and Coop CSD and Watt energy drink.According to pricing and logistics characteristics PET products can be sold to neighbourhood countries. Main focus is Romania / Transilvania. CAN products pricing and volume per truck / container dimensions allow to sell this kind of products for far destinations. Main destinations besides CEE countries are: USA, Nigeria, Czech Rep., Italy, Ukraine and Russia.
