Arad Free Tours is a project born from the need to put Arad back on the touristic map of the region and of the country. Realizing that despite its strategic location, amazing history and impressive architecture, Arad was left in some dark corner when it comes to tourism, a team of volunteers decided to take a stand. We decided to do something for our beloved city, to share our passion for this town. The concept of "Free Tours", already implemented in many major cities all over Europe, fits as a glove in our plans of revitalizing tourism in Arad. The first step being taken, as our very enthusiastic group of volunteers has been trained on local history, basic architecture and communication skills and stuffed with fun facts, we are ready to welcome our visitors.
