Aral Sea produces documentaries, podcasts and campaigns for organisations whose work and interests are connected to environmental and social justice issues. We are also committed to sharing the work of talented creatives and using our company as a platform to help others. We are moving the spotlight onto underrepresented creatives, artists and thinkers. Our ethos is simple: diversity, inclusiveness and care for the environment.We believe that for too long, intelligent and challenging minds have been blocked from creative industries and we've decided to do something about it. We are relentless in hammering down the barriers that stop people from taking part in producing film, photography and audio. If people have something interesting and new to say, we want to help them say it. Started in 2019 by Pauline Blanchet, the company was founded on a desire to change the film landscape and create a more inclusive and thoughtful process. Since then we have expanded into audio, video and commercial content production, as well as launching our own online magazine, The Tide.
