ARC is an initiative created by a group of students from the faculty of IT and the IT-Section of Göta student union and devoted to the exploration of the fields of robotics, automation and communication through practical application of academic theories and industrial practices. As such all projects supported by ARC will have to display clear links to at least one of these primary topics. As a whole we seek to: Diversify the research areas for undergraduate students interested in the ARC fields. Find, study and solve societal issues by practical application of the vast knowledge base within the field of applied information technology. Promote a broader understanding of automated systems and their practical applications in everyday life for a wide cross section of the population. Expand the knowledge in the ARC fields by producing and demonstrating the practical applications of academic and industrial practices. Collect a roster of members who are enthusiastic and autonomous information seekers, adept at problems based learning and able to create their own workflow and progress without external instructions.
