Archana Kochhar started her journey 19 years ago and since then there has been no looking back. Her glamorous looks, Indian & contemporary silhouettes and craftsmanship, make Archana one of the most sought after designers for brides & grooms all over the world. Her creations are well acclaimed not only in India but also in UK, UAE, Hong Kong, Thailand, Canada and USA. She has worked closely with the tribal weavers from Jharkhand on the "Ahimsa silk" fabric, which is produced without killing a single silkworm. She has globalized this concept by showcasing this unique silk at the New York fashion week. Archana has been promoting the "Make in India" campaign in her different projects, which is an initiative by the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi.Archana Kochhar is an educationalist and an avid writer; she provides mentorship in numerous colleges. She also writes columns for national dailies. She is one of the few designers who firmly believes in sharing her fashion platform with various philanthropic projects; she's the goodwill ambassador for "Smile Foundation", a charity organization supporting the cause of the girl child.
