The NIA is an Association of Architects, established in April, 1960 with the main objective of promoting the practice of the profession of Architecture. From an initial membership of 13 at inception, the Institute's membership currently stands at over 4,500 as at the general assembly in November, 2009. The membership covers various classes spanning Student membership through Graduate, Associate, Full and Honorary membership to Fellows of the Institute.ARCHIBUILT is the biggest forum for the exhibition of building materials and construction technology organized by the Institute. It is the single largest gathering of key players in the building industry, a showcase of the latest innovations, technologies and orientations in architecture and the construction sector. It offers a good marketing platform for strategic partners and sponsors of the activities of the Nigerian Institute of Architects.This year it holds at the Ladi Kwali Hall,Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja Sept17-22,2011
