Archetype is a label of co-creation whose field of action is clothing. Through it, the aim is to push the upcycling approach to make it a means of production, and a viable industrial solution. In France, on average, 70% of the garments in a wardrobe have not been worn in the last 12 months. We propose to (re)-use them in order to create unique, personal clothes that last and resist the fashion phenomenon.By integrating the customer in the creation process, Archetype aims to meet his primary needs of belonging, freedom and identity related to clothing.On the one hand, the customer brings the raw material through the old clothes he doesn't wear anymore. On the other hand, the label draws the patterns of a future garment. A discussion is then engaged between the label and the customer in order to co-create a garment that corresponds to his needs and desires.
