Starting in 2011, Ardluce acquired the assets, contracts and key personnel of Alta Systems (NI) Ltd., retaining the experience and expertise essential to developing and maintaining online assessment solutions. We continue to maintain and support Alta Maths customers in schools and homes in Northern Ireland, England and Scotland. We have recently developed and deployed, in partnership with CCEA, NINA, the statutory CBA solution for use in Primary Schools throughout Northern Ireland.We continue to refine our product range targeting new markets in the UK, USA and further afield.We are committed to producing informative assessment solutions - assessments that tell you what an assessed individual is capable of doing by measuring their abilities against locally / regional / nationally recognised criteria and should issues exists, highlighting these against the same criteria.To do this, we have built up a range of tools:As mentioned, developing assessment solutions customised to local/regional and national curricula.Easy to read assessment records providing formative and diagnostic information for assessed individuals.Customisable assessment plans - providing the ability to target individuals and the stage of the curricula at which they are working.Adaptive assessments that react to the level of the individual by adapting the difficulty level of the questions to suit their ability.Item replay, providing the individual with a demonstration of how they responded.Model answers for use in response demonstration or individual feedback.Our aim is to provide first class assessment solutions that really helps raise standards in Mathematics and Numeracy.
