Aril Estate is just over 3 hours drive from Sydney. It was founded in 2005 on a sheep grazing property. It wasn't until 2007 when the first trial planting of 200 pomegranates occurred. In the summer of 2007-2008 our first order of 1500 olive trees were planted. We now have approximately 525 each of Manzanilla and Californian queens, 750 Picual and 200 SA Verdale under irrigation.We now have eight pomegranate varieties totalling 3500 trees.
